About Mitchell’s Fish Market
This chain of seafood restaurants traces its origins back to Cameron Mitchell of Columbus Ohio, back in 1998. It was first known as the Columbus Fish Market before rebranding itself to the franchise it is today.
As of 2018, Mitchell’s Fish Market operates in 14 locations across the United States. It usually caters to mid to upper class customers but has also maintained a mass-market appeal throughout the years.
Mitchell’s Fish Market Review
The atmosphere in Mitchell’s Fish Market is classy but comfortable. It immediately reminds you of an upper class home.
The menu here offers primarily seafood using fresh ingredients every single day. Their meals are complemented by a mix of wines, beers, and cocktails.
A must try here is the Seared Ahi Tuna with smoked salt, pepper, and ale mustard sauce. If you are looking for something a bit greener and easier on the stomach, then you must try the different sandwiches and salads, the most notable being a bacon and egg combination known only as the Titanic Wedge of Iceberg.
As for service, the staff at Mitchell’s Fish Market are known to be attentive and friendly. Wait times here are fairly average, depending on the item ordered but it’s certain that you would have all that you ordered in 30 minutes or less.
