Hale and Hearty Soups was established in 1995 in New York, NY. You’ll find their flagship location on Lexington Avenue.
They currently have 23 branches across New York—that’s one new location for each year of being in business. They haven’t received any awards but consistently get fairly positive reviews.
Hale and Hearty Review
The restaurant’s many locations are generally clean and relaxing. Unfortunately though, they’re fairly limited when it comes to seating capacity.
The soups and sandwiches are delicious, aside from being quite filling. They provide options for vegetarians as well as those who follow dairy-free, gluten-free, or low-fat diets.
If you do visit them, make it a point to try their Crab and Corn Chowder, Broccoli Cheddar, and Creamy Mushroom. Their Chicken Tenders and Cajun Fries are also topnotch.
The service is quite pleasant. The restaurant’s staff is very polite and helpful especially when you ask questions. The waiting time, however, is moderate.
