Grimaldi’s is an American pizza chain that started its operations in New York but has expanded globally. They offer a lot of pizza selections as well as starters and desserts.
Grimaldi’s use of coal-fired brick ovens, fresh ingredients, and excellent crust continues to attract diners. The restaurant remains among the top recommendations among New York’s pizza lovers.

About Grimaldi’s
In 1990, Patsy Grimaldi founded Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in Brooklyn, NY. Several years later though, it was sold to Frank Ciolli.
The pizzeria has a total of 33 locations, and has received the Five-Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS).
Grimaldi’s Review
The ambiance is simple, intimate, relaxing, and casual. They have a lot of indoor seating available. However, the lines can get long especially on weekends.
The pizza is great. The crust and the sauce match together very well and have a very nice consistency. You also get to create and build your own pizza.
You’ll have to try their Margherita Pizza with Basil. Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato is another superb choice. Bring someone (or a group) since they don’t have a “per slice” option.
The staff accommodates customers the best they can. The waiting time to be seated and for the food to be served is a bit long (around 30 minutes).
