About Snarf’s
It was in 1996 that Jimmy Seidel opened the first Snarf’s Sandwiches in Boulder, Colorado. Instead of searching for the world’s finest sandwich, he decided to build his own sandwiches that would be the best. The original store was affectionately known as “The Shack.”
After more than twenty years, their family-owned business has 20 restaurants in places such as Chicago, Colorado, Austin, Texas, and St. Louis. Through the years, Snarf’s has gained the accolades of numerous newspapers, magazines, and television channels. They are known for their crisp breads and fresh ingredients that go into the best tasting sandwiches at Snarf’s.
Snarf’s Review
Each location of Snarf’s sandwiches is designed to be unique. Jimmy Seidel believes in uniqueness. By all means he wants to stay away from the cookie cutter approach to restaurants. In some locations, he would take an existing structure and modify it slightly and get it ready to be a Snarf’s. He enjoys the uniqueness.
You’ve got to try the prime rib with lettuce, tomato and horseradish possibly the perfect sandwich. The popular Italian sandwich is another wonderful choice. They use great cuts of Italian meat served with hot peppers you can’t let go of. You might also want to try the eggplant parm with hot peppers too.
The main features are the oven-toasted sandwiches on their famous, fresh-baked bread, entree-sized salads, delicious soups, desserts and even more. They use premium carved meats and cheeses sliced right off the block. And don’t miss their signature giardiniera pepper blend – Something you’re sure to enjoy.
Snarf’s is great for groups, solo, business, or casual. The staff are known to be super friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. You just won’t be disappointed. There may be a bit of a wait time, but for sandwiches this great, it’s worth the wait.
