About Costa Vida
JD and Sarah Gardner thought of bringing the taste and vibe of Costa Vida home with them. In 2003, they opened their first Costa Vida restaurant in Layton, Utah.
In 2012, there are 90 locations in Canada and across the US. It has become one of North America’s fastest growing restaurant franchises.

The concept is reminiscent of a casual Mexican grill restaurant. The dining space is bright with a relaxing and colorful interior. Beach sceneries on the walls create a relaxed, tropical laidback vibe.
Flavors are true to traditional coastal Mexican cuisine. Everything is made from scratch, including the tortilla. Intense flavors are from slow-cooked, perfectly-seasoned meats. Fresh vegetables and fruits perfectly complete the meals.
Their menu is traditional Mexican fare. The Gluten-free menu they have is also extensive. Some of the popular items on the menu are the award-winning sweet pulled pork, tres leches cake and fresh tortillas.
