About Capriotti’s
The first Capriotti’s opened in 1976 in Wilmington, Delaware. Its founder was Lois and Alan Margolet. The establishment was named after their grandfather, Philip Capriotti.
The chain now operates 104 company-owned restaurants and franchises across 15 states. They have also received numerous awards, such as Best Sandwich in 2018 which was given by Dessert Companion’s Readers Poll.
