About Beef ‘O’ Brady’s
Jim Mellody was inspired by the Irish-pub dining atmosphere and wanted to bring it to American diners. The restaurant’s first location opened in Brandon, Florida in 1985.
Today, the menu has grown and so did the company. By 2011, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has 215 locations across the country, most of which are in the Southern/Gulf Coast.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Review
The place has a sports-bar atmosphere. The walls are adorned with authentic sports memorabilia. The bar itself has ample seating. Large tables are available for groups.
The menu features traditional bar food such as wings, fries, burgers and beers. They also give out some free shareable starters while waiting for orders.
Favorites on the menu include the dry rubbed lemon chicken wings. You’ll be asked to choose among twelve different sauces, each capable of making the flavor pleasantly distinct.
The staff is accommodating and attentive. The manager also goes around checking to make sure every diner is satisfied with the restaurant’s service. Seating is usually not a problem.
