About Cheesecake Factory
Evelyn Overton founded the first Cheesecake Factory. Evelyn was inspired to start her own business after making a cheesecake for her husband’s boss. The first restaurant she opened was in Detroit, Michigan, and the restaurant’s success took off from there.
Today, the restaurant operates more than 200 branches across the United States and other parts of the world like Dubai, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
