About Sharks
The chain has been family owned and operated for years, changing hands in 2015. Many other fried food stores in the area have similar names, hoping to draw in customers.
Despite these imitators, there is only one Super Sharks Fish & Chicken in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Sharks Review
The storefront is brightly lit; inside, the restaurant looks like a deli, with a few booths leading up to the counter. Ambiance is very casual and bustling, with customers in and out constantly.
The fried food won’t be crisp but the batter is very light and buttery. Most dishes here won’t taste good cold, especially the soft fries, so if you’re getting takeout plan to eat soon.
Super Sharks might be a seafood restaurant, but one of the most popular items is a juicy steak gyro. Make sure you also try the fried catfish and the coleslaw, another in-demand item.
Service is a bit limited because of the diner setup. Since an ownership change there have been complaints about waiting upwards of 20 minutes even at low-traffic hours. Despite this, the restaurant still boasts a devoted fan base and should be on your list next time you’re in Indy.
