The first restaurant was opened in Dallas, Texas in October 1982 by three friends who shared the same interest of spreading Border-style food across the world.
There are now more than 160 On The Border locations within the U.S., 2 locations in Puerto Rico, and 9 in South Korea.

On The Border restaurants have a pleasant ambiance, spacious indoor seating (some locations also have outdoor seating), and decorative interiors. The place is suitable for children as well.
