The Dussin family has owned and operated Old Spaghetti Factory since Guss and Sally Dussin opened the very first location in Portland, Oregon in 1969.

Old Spaghetti Factory picks old warehouses and such for locations. This suits the antique-industrial decor and soft lighting perfectly. Considering the love the children’s menu gets, the quiet, comfortable atmosphere is impressive.
They aren’t pretentious about authenticity—the food is as American as Italian gets, excepting imported items like the Mizithra cheese. It’s all satisfying (and filling), and actually made fresh.
Let your kids try Italian Sodas. Pick any pasta; I like Ravioli or Lasagna, myself. Fifteen locations are partnered with the Murder Mystery Company—see their dinner show if possible.
You’re having fun, and so are they. Order whatever you want, off-menu or on. If you get up after ordering, the appetizer might just beat you back to the table.
