The restaurant is actually named “Tio Juan’s Margaritas Mexican Restaurant”. It was the brainchild of John Pelletier along with his brother Dave and their friend, Stan Bagley.
The first Margaritas was opened in Orono, Maine on 1987. However, it has since become a chain of restaurants operating in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
What makes Margaritas unique design-wise is that no two branches are ever the same. Each provides a different visual experience but the overall atmosphere is always comfortable.
Its menu is strictly authentic Mexican. As such, you can expect to try out many dishes straight from Mexico here including nachos, tacos, and enchiladas.
Of course, the restaurant also has an extensive selection of margarita drinks to choose from. Needless to say, they go well with any dish that you order.
As for service, they are responsive and will immediately clean up after every customer. The crew is also attentive and friendly which lends much to the restaurant’s relaxed vibe.
