About Firebirds
Dennis Thompson and Doug Glendenning founded Firebirds in 2000 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pair had previously been founder and president, respectively, of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon.
They currently have over 45 locations and appears on several lists of up-and-coming restaurants. FSR has the chain in their 2018 top 50, while Nation’s Restaurant News ranks them second.
Firebirds Review
The interior of each restaurant is inspired by the chain’s American roots. You can grab a seat at the bar or wait to be served at a table or booth.
Each entree will greet you with fresh flavors and a mouth-watering blend of herbs and spices. On top of that, you can’t go wrong with their innovative desserts and appetizers.
In particular, customers recommend the lobster spinach queso and the crème brulee cheesecake. The BLT salad is also a big favorite.
Firebirds emphasizes service and hospitality. The staff are friendly and very courteous. Wait times are typically short, but you might want to call ahead for a reservation during peak hours.
