About Chuy’s
This restaurant chain was established by John Zapp and Mike Young back in 1982.
They currently have a total of 97 locations with several more under construction. The restaurant chain can be found in 19 states. Each year they sponsor charitable events like the Children Giving to Children Holiday Parade.
Chuy’s Review
Even though the décor is drawn from a variety of themes, the place is rather homey and is great for family get-togethers.
The food is a notch or two higher than your run off the mill Tex-Mex restaurant. They make their tacos, tortillas, salsas, and other ingredients fresh, which is a real treat.
Right off the bat their best seller should be the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken. Don’t miss their enchiladas that are flamboyantly named chicka-chicka boom-boom.
Service is great and the staff is friendly. Wait time is at 10 minutes average so you just have to hang in there a little bit.
