The first restaurant started its operations in April 17, 1952. It was founded by George W. Church, Sr. who was an incubator salesman before starting the business.
The chain has around a thousand locations in the United States alone. In countries outside North America, the chain restaurant operates under the name Texas Chicken.

It is a fast food restaurant so you can expect hard seats and minimal decorations. Their place is usually small so you might want your order to go.
They cook your chicken as you order so it would be at its freshest. Their chicken is juicy and not as greasy compared to your usual fast food chicken.
I’d recommend their original chicken. Order it with honey-butter biscuits and mashed potatoes or fries for your sides. You have to include the biscuits in your meal.
You would have to wait at least ten minutes for your order. It is a necessary downside if you want your chicken fresh.
