About Wild Ginger
Prior to adding Thai and Japanese food to the menu and becoming Wild Ginger (circa 2010), Natural Village was a beloved vegetarian Chinese restaurant in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
In 2014, after opening Wild Ginger II in Jamison and III in New Hope, the flagship location went solo once again and became New Wild Ginger.
Wild Ginger Review
The interior is as trendy and modern as they come, spacious and dark with clean, bright highlights. The decorated sushi bar is quite an attraction.
Refreshingly, ordering vegetarian here doesn’t feel like a compromise in any way. I normally avoid vegetarian menus out of habit, but not here. These “alternatives” stand on their own.
One thing all reviewers can agree on is that the General Tso’s Bean Curd is—at the very least—just as good as the chicken option. Don’t forget the sushi bar, either!
While you can get delivery, remember that it isn’t their focus. This isn’t your typical Chinese takeout, after all. Allow them time to do their thing; it’s worth it!
