About Showmars
George Couchell, known as Mr. C among employees founded Showmars. In 1982 Couchell opened the first location Charlotte, North Carolina. Dean Peroulas is the current CEO.
The Charlotte-based restaurant expanded since 1982 to 31 total locations. 26 in North Carolina, and 5 in South Carolina.
Showmars Review
The restaurant is fast-casual. When dining-in, you order at the counter, pick a table to sit, and a server will serve you.
Based on what you order, the food may taste either smoky, cheesy, spicy, salty, or a combination of smoky, cheesy, spicy, and salty.
Popular menu items are the Gyro Pita, Greek Veggie Pita, Gyro Platter, Old-Fashioned Chili-Pita Burger, Old-Fashioned Chili-Cheeseburger, Southern Chicken Tenders, and the Flounder and Shrimp Combo.
