About Patio
The Patio was founded in 1977 in Bridgeview, Illinois by John Koliopoulos. Koliopoulos is a Greek family man with family, religion, and food in mind.
It has six locations and proudly only serves in Illinois! With no known recognitions or awards yet, this place is sure to get one soon!
Patio Review
The ambiance of the restaurant for any kind of patron, family looking for a good place to eat, buddies wanting to hang at the bar and eat quality BBQ, or even a classic BBQ date for a couple. It is setup as an open air “patio style” seating with big open windows with simple tables and chairs around the entire restaurant.
The food is northern-style BBQ with sauce as the main choice of flavoring on the meat. Pullled pork, brisket, ribs, you name it; all covered in their signature sauce.
Many people recommend the ribs of course, but many also recommend the cream of chicken soup, the mac and cheese, the chicken, and the potatoes as well. Many also recommend both the dry rub and BBQ sauce, so both are good and recommended.
Service is iffy at times, most say staff is nice and very prompt, while others say the staff is unapologetic with mistakes and can hold grudges at times, but overall great service and good staff.
