About Mi Apá
The restaurant, Mi Apá, was founded and established by Peter Ynigo and his wife Aurora Ynigo in the year 2003 with their very first location in Gainesville.
Currently, the restaurant only has two locations, their flagship location in Gainesville and another one in Alachua. Mi Apá has been included in the top 8 restaurants in Gainesville.
Mi Apá Review
Mi Apá has a very simple, and a casual ambiance. They offer inside and outside seating, they offer a private parking lot and they have a free wifi in their restaurant.
The food is worth trying. The food is very well balanced especially their Ropa whose sauce is rich and complement the rice perfectly. It’s affordable too. They have perfected the Cuban cooking.
Next time you stop by, make sure to taste their Cuban sandwiches and Cuban coffee. And try the Ropa Vieja, Chicken Fricasse and empanada.
The service is okay. Waiters really do their best to deliver the food quick. And the serving time is quick which is a staple of Cuban cuisine.
