About Jim ‘N Nick’s
Jim ‘N Nick’s began when Nick and his dad, Jim, reclaimed an old pizza parlor on Clairmont Avenue in Birmingham, AL and turned it into the first Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
Today, they have 34 restaurants in 7 states.

Jim ‘N Nick’s is no doubt a great place to eat BBQ, with its brick walls, wooden floors, and high ceilings. They have excellent waiter service but they also offer take-out and some restaurants even have drive-thrus. Perfect for that barbecue craving.
And that barbecue is absolutely fresh. The restaurant does not have a freezer, everything is made from scratch everyday and you can certainly taste it in the food.
They offer every style of smoked meat including both regular and pork baby back ribs. Aside from the classic pulled pork, beef brisket, and ribs, there’s also the options of fried catfish, turkey and ham and a whole ton of sides.
If the large menu overwhelms you, simply ask the excellent staff for their recommendations. The service here is why they bridge the gap from big chain to a homey environment.
