About Flame Broiler

The restaurant chain was founded in 1995 by Young Lee, who had then just recently graduated with an economics degree from UCLA. Its first location was opened in Orange County.

The company started franchising in 1999. Currently, they operate in more than 180 locations in 7 states. Founder Mr. Lee gives back to the community by sponsoring children in need.
