About Dion’s
Bill Scott and Jon Patten opened the first Dion’s in 1978 as a Greek restaurant. They soon realized their pizza was more popular, and they’ve been serving it ever since!
The chain’s 21 locations have won numerous awards, including New Mexico’s Private 100 List’s “most admired company.” Multiple publications have also recognized Dion’s as the best pizza in Albuquerque.
Dion’s Review
The set up is common to the fast food industry – you can order at the counter and then enjoy your food at a table or booth.
Pizza is definitely the main attraction, with original, gourmet, and make your own options available. These pizzas are made to order, and come out hot and fresh.
Make sure to pair the pizza with some of the restaurant’s signature ranch dressing, which is quite the favorite in its own right.
The pizzas are made to order, so you might have to wait a few minutes for yours to be made. But trust me – the wait is worth it!
