About Cheddar’s
Cheddar’s has been around since 1979 and was founded by Doug Rogers and Aubrey Good. In 2017, the restaurant chain was acquired by Darden Restaurants.
Cheddar’s is found across 23 states and has 165 franchise- and company-owned locations. Because of its homemade thrust, the restaurant has been honored by Zagat, Technomic, and others.
Cheddar’s Review
In line with the homemade theme, many branches boast of a comfortable atmosphere featuring brick walls, wood accents, and adequate lighting. The seats are spaced sufficiently apart.
The restaurant offers all things American, from pastries to burgers. While some would say there are tasteless items, I can definitely say that the food is worth coming back for.
Of course, the recommended items are the steaks and the fried chicken. Also not to be missed are the buttery pastry offerings and the saucy baby back ribs.
Waiting to be seated is generally short, but it may take longer for food to be served. However, the restaurant staff are accommodating and are happy to facilitate your orders.
