About BJ’s
Mike Phillips and Bill Cunningham founded this chain in 1978 in Santa Ana, California as BJ’s Chicago Pizzeria.
Now, there are 197 locations across the United States. BJ’s beer has won several awards, and in 2013 their BJ’s Hefelightzen won gold at the Great American Beer Festival.
