About White Castle
White Castle was founded in 1921 by Walter Anderson. Opening his first location in Wichita, Kansas, his purpose was to provide clean, affordable hamburgers to the masses.
There are currently 420 White Castle locations, almost all in the United States with one in Shanghai, China. The White Castle slider was named by Time as the most influential hamburger.
White Castle Review
Most White Castle locations you can find by their white brick and clean interiors. Their setup is much like any contemporary fast food restaurant with a drive thru, front counter for orders, and open seating.
The White Castle slider is always cut into a square to fit more patties on the grill. Always grilled to perfection, your mouth will water at the first bite. They also carry chicken sliders and vegan burgers.
While known for their meat sliders, White Castle has recently gained a lot of press for their vegan burgers. Using Impossible Meat as their source, these burgers are nearly identical to the real thing. You can also find all your classic sides and drinks.
As a fast food restaurant, the service is always quick and friendly. This is a great option for a quick lunch with friends or something to get your kids.
