About Five Guys
Five Guys was founded in 1986 in Washington D.C by the Murrell family. In the beginning, they only sold fresh, hand-formed burgers and French fries.
Now there are 1,500 locations worldwide including in countries like Italy, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands. The Murrell family’s creation has been recognized as having the “Number 1 Burger” by the Washington Magazine for seven years, and it can also claim former President Barack Obama as a loyal customer.
Five Guys Review
This restaurant’s interior is what I would call a classic American burger joint. You know you’re in Five Guys when you see the red and white alternating checkered design all around you. You can order at the cash register and wait for your meal in either a booth or a table.
It should come as no surprise when I say that this restaurant has a good burger. The awards speak for themselves. What I think makes the burger so great, aside from the obvious things like their fresh, hand-formed patties, is their sweet and “eggier” buns.
When you go to this restaurant, you’ve got to get the hamburger. It has two patties. You can add toppings such as jalapenos and grilled mushrooms, to name a few. The fries are hot and fresh and you can them get lightly dusted with a tasty Cajun seasoning. Finish it off with one of their many flavors of milkshakes!
One of the things that remain constant in this restaurant is nice, attentive staff. They always greet you with a smile and politeness. Don’t expect to wait long either; the food comes out hot and fresh very quickly!
