With its founders Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson, Del Taco began serving its staple of tacos, tostadas, burgers, and milkshakes at Yermo, California in 1964.

Del Taco restaurants are often colorful, with an organized layout, clean bathrooms, and ample parking space available in certain locations.
Its tacos literally stand taller than many of its competitors, appearing bigger in size, and are equally as filling. Their hot sauces complement the food quite well and you may order them in bulk online.
Their chili cheese fries are the top menu item you wouldn’t want to miss, including their chicken soft tacos, fish tacos, and strawberry lemonade. They also offer a “Buck and Under Menu” with options that are cheap but still delicious.
Service has been noted as quick and efficient, and staff are friendly and accommodating. The servers will readily provide you with allergen information, if need be.
