Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n’ Biscuits was founded in 1977 by veteran restaurant operators Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas, Charlotte, North Carolina.
With over 600 locations, its growth has been notable, earning a No. 1 spot in Chicken-Category Franchise in the Nation’s Restaurant News, and one of the “Franchise High Performers” according to Wall Street Journal in 2008.
Bojangles Review
As of 2017, Bojangles’ has released plans of modernizing their restaurants with free Wifi, charging stations, and a “biscuit theater” where you can watch the biscuit-making process. Currently, their restaurants offer casual dining and drive-thru services.
If you’re a fan of spice but not excessively so, Bojangles’ offers a balanced spice profile, with mouthwatering flavors, and tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, crisp-skinned chicken meals.
They definitely give you value for money with their Family Meals, Chicken Boxes, and Under-500-Calories menu options. The Cajun Filet Biscuit and Dirty Rice food items are highly-recommended.
Service at Bojangles’ tends to be quick, as goes the nature of their business, and staff are often friendly and courteous.
